On April 27th, 2018, SCCE launched the first SCCE-Chimie ParisTech Buddy Program. Two undergraduates from SCCE Weiming Liu and Zhan Shen and two visiting students from Chime ParisTech Francois Bel and Axel Bossavit had in-depth exchanges on the similarities and differences of culture and society between China and France. During the meeting, Liu and Shen answered questions about campus life, scientific research and fundamental state about Shanghai and China. At the same time, Bel and Bossavit helped them prepare for campus life in France.

Chime ParisTech, one of the founding schools of ParisTech, focuses on research fields including chemistry, materials, chemical engineering, energy etc. Chime ParisTech and SCCE have jointly set up one exchange program and one dual-master's degree program.
